  1. I have lots of ideas.....but knowing me I’d be better off working for somebody coz I have lousy money sense. But if I didn’t have to bother about accounts and stuff I’d love to open a Library:-).

  2. If I had to open a business it would either be a play school, a casual restaurant where u can hangout with a book having innumerable cups of coffee :) or a book shop with a coffee house.

  4. I'll come and do the accounts and stuff in your library. Love libraries.

Well, I did start a BPO business, not for myself, but as an intrapreneur for my company. Have had enough of business, so content with writing about it now.

Given a chance, I would love to start a sports academy.

  9. Learning and Development are my focus areas. If I got some money I would start a Training Institution - provide Corporate Training. With still some more money I would start an employ-ability program for the youth in India.

If there was an obscene amount of money available then I would think in terms of creating an Educational Institution - schools and colleges, maybe even an University.

These are a few of my small dreams!

  17. I have to confess I am truly dismayed at the number of bookshop/coffee shop dream! Okay so screw that! I am also keen on organic farming - especially since I got hooked on cooking shows about 6 years ago and saw Jamie Oliver's garden. I would also like to start a day care center for working women at the grassroots level. Being a new Mum it is terrifying to think of leaving my precious with strangers but I hope to have the kind of establishment that will give women the confidence to join the workforce once again :o)
Oh and I also want to start a bakery - but that is just for me. I am MAD about bread! Trying to cut down on the sugary stuff but I will indulge now n then. I always wanted my home to smell of freshly baked bread. Gosh I got a whole lot of ideas but ONE of these will def come true Nance - and I will write you about it.

  18. One of my fave Hollywood heroines is Rachel Weisz in The Mummy, simply because of the one scene where she proudly (albeit drunkenly) proclaims, "I...am a LIBRARIAN!"!! :D

  19. Jane, organic farming sounds like a fabulous idea.....India is waking up to it big time & I think u shd just go ahead:-).
I love the aroma of baking bread too....baked bread just twice; the bread itself wasnt all tht gr8 but the aroma ....the aroma was sublime:-)).

  22. Lots of ideas, I always dreamt o being an entreprenuer. I wanted to own a bus which will take tourists around the city, with food and music in the evenings and a place to do a party. In college days I dreamt of a beachside bookstore with a small souvenir shop and cafe. One of my recent ones -- A fitness centre, with day care or a mom and toddler group where women can exercise, catch up with each other without having to worry about their lil ones :)
