Obama won ofcourse...

....but this post is not about Barack Obama. It is dedicated to Michelle Obama and everything she stands for. She is a lawyer who graduated from Harvard Law School; she later quit her job to lead a non-profit organisation called Public Allies where she worked to develop young community leaders.

Michelle Obama is beautiful, confident and has charisma. She has inspired people across the world to eat healthy, exercise and fight obesity. As First Lady, she launched a campaign Let’s Move!, to bring together community leaders, teachers, doctors, nurses, moms and dads in a nationwide effort to tackle the challenges of childhood obesity.

Leading by example she planted the first-ever White House Kitchen Garden and invited young people from across the country to the White House to experience firsthand what she is trying to achieve.

An accomplished lawyer and public servant, Michelle Obama describes her most important role as being mom-in-chief for her daughters Malia and Sasha.

With her support and encouragement there was no way Obama could have lost. Fine, I'm biased so sue me;-).

    2. One night President Obama and his wife Michelle decided to do something out of routine and go for a casual dinner at a restaurant that wasn’t too luxurious. When they were seated, the owner of the restaurant asked the President’s secret service if he could please speak to the First Lady in private. They obliged and Michelle had a conversation with the owner. Following this conversation President Obama asked Michelle, why was he so interested in talking to you. She mentioned that in her teenage years, he had been madly in love with her. President Obama then said, “so if you had married him, you would now be the owner of this lovely restaurant”, to which Michelle responded, “no, if I had married him, he would now be the President.”

    1. The book is "American Grown" and its about how she transformed the White House kitchen garden and other interesting titbits to promote better eating habits & health. It seems like MO refused money for the book & all proceeds to be donated to charity.

  5. I absolutely admire this spunky lady. If Obama did a Clinton on her, I am sure she would do a Bobbit on him ;)
